Elisa Bee’s third Hardgroove release, ‘Digital Haze’, drops on November 28th and sees the Sardinian producer drop four new tracks, following appearances on Truncate, Unknown To The Unknown, Bipolar Disorder, Symbolism and Survival Tactics in recent years.
Throughout ‘Digital Haze’, there’s a striking warmth to Bee’s productions. Even at its most aggressive (closing track ‘Liquid Fire’), ‘Digital Haze’ is a celebration of rounded percussion, sinewave bass and a deeper, funkier and altogether smoother take on Techno. There’s no lack of power, though, with opener ‘Aria’, the title track and the clipped swing of ‘Overseen’ providing relentless hip-shaking grooves that could run well beyond their playtime.
A firm fixture in some of Techno’s most renowned clubs, including regular sessions at Berghain and a residency at Tempio Del Futuro Perduto in Milan, Elisa Bee is a DJ and producer who has focused on craft and skill, and it shows.
