She turns the up-tempo percussive energies of the original into a hypnotic Techno offering, just as bounce-inducing, but trading its soulful stabs and piano keys for foreboding sequences and stripped-back, expertly re-sampled vocals.
Sardinian artist Elisa Bee has seen significant interest in the past five years. DJing and producing for seventeen years in total, she brings a rock-solid foundation to her work, leading to funk-driven, house-influenced Techno releases for the likes of Balkan Vinyl, Ben Sims’ Symbolism and Hardgroove, and UTTU. With nods from Resident Advisor, a residency at Milan cultural hub Tempio Del Futuro Perduto and an increasingly hefty touring schedule that includes regular sessions at Berghain, Bee is an artist making waves at the vanguard of modern Techno.
