Label offshoot of the FLÂNEUR fashion label, Flâneur Music, returns with a release from emerging House producer Emery Bex, with the ‘Break It Down’ EP dropping April 10th. Bex debuted on Flâneur Music with ‘Transition’ in January 2026, featuring on the ‘Thinking Out Loud’ V/A and following multiple releases on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax and Franky Rizardo’s LTF label.
‘Break It Down’s opener and title track is a breakbeat-fuelled four-four number that scatters vocal samples and nifty 303 licks across its bumping groove to swinging effect. Next up, ‘Talking Bout’ treads a deeper path, with a stripped-back rhythm track providing a bedrock for a light, sometimes sinister set of synths to float throughout. Closing, ‘Midnight Shhh’ is a swung, soulful vocal infused jacker for late night floors.
Europe’s fastest-growing fashion label, FLÂNEUR, created Flâneur Music as a multi-disciplinary platform driven by innovation, digitalism, and sonic exploration. Since its inception in May 2025, the label has released music from Matrefakt, Nigel Hey, DJ Dolly, and more, whilst garnering DJ support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Sam Divine, Bastian Bux, and Eddie Richards.
