First off, Circadia is such a powerful track. What inspired the name and the sound?
Nice one! The name came from circadian rhythms, like the natural body clock we all have. I got a bit obsessed with how our bodies respond to repetition and rhythm, and how that links to club culture. I wanted to make something that felt like it could run deep in your system but still go off in a club setting. So it’s moody and equal parts “emosh” but still got a bit of bite to it, you know?

It definitely feels perfect for both the gym and the rave. Was that intentional?
I love that kind of crossover. I never sit down thinking this needs to be a gym banger or whatever, but I’m always thinking about movement. Whether it’s someone lifting weights or losing their head on a dancefloor, if the track can like make that happen then I’m doing something right. It’s got to have energy but also space to breathe.
You’ve been DJing in world class spaces like Sankeys, Space Ibiza, Warehouse Project. What’s your schedule looking like for this summer?
It’s looking mad to be honest. I’m heading back to Ibiza which is always a big one, and I’ve got some unreal gigs lined up across the UK and Europe. Some I can’t talk about just yet but one I can is Hi Ibiza with Hannah Laing and Fish Octagon on 21st July. That’s gonna be chaotic in the best way. Buzzing for it all.
That word “alive” really captures your sets. How does it feel being on stage right now?
It’s the best feeling. I’ve been doing full live shows for over a decade and I still get that same rush. Every set’s a bit different because I’m building stuff in real time, reacting to the crowd, letting things breathe or go off depending on the moment. There’s always a bit of unpredictability and that’s what keeps it exciting. It’s not about pressing play, it’s proper interaction. You feel every reaction straight away and that connection’s unbeatable.
What’s next on the horizon?
Loads coming up. I’ve got more original music dropping soon and a proper exciting collab with Meg Ward called Let The Freaks In which is out on her label Mega Wavy in May. A few mad gigs coming up too and more behind the scenes stuff with the live rig in my new studio. People have been asking about how it all works so I’ll be showing more of that side. Plus more on the way from my label Section 63, keeping the momentum going there too.
