Washington D.C. producer Eyezic returns to Lost In Dreams Records with ‘VHS,’ a six-track EP arriving September 10th. It turns the lens inward, revisiting the moments, sounds, and memories that shaped him. Inspired by childhood memories caught on tape, the project traces a path through nostalgia, connection, self-discovery, and acceptance—marking a new chapter for an artist stepping fully into frame and revealing a more emboldened version of his artistry.
The spool’s opening scene is “CARE FOR YOU,” which captures the uncomplicated joy of caring deeply for someone. A euphoric house offering built around warmth and movement, the track pairs pitched-up vocal hooks with dusty lo-fi spoken-word narration that emerges during the breakdown, like a treasured voice memo that gives love a playback button. Fast drum shuffles fuel the groove with an immediate pulse, while vibrant plucky leads, ethereal atmospherics, soothing nature sounds, radiant modulations, and dreamy spatial effects wrap the production in a soft-focus glow.
Across the ‘VHS’ EP, Eyezic navigates distinct emotional milestones: “TALK TO ME” addresses the desire for true connection amid life’s growing complexities, while “NEEDU2NEEDME” explores excitement, vulnerability, and the vital realization that self-love comes first. Lead single “WASN’T SMALL” with Jeanne Taylor confronts the weight of unresolved relationship dynamics, “TAKE YOUR TIME” advocates for presence and patience, and closer “IT’S NOT YOU IT’S ME” arrives at full acceptance and ownership over his path.
The project continues Eyezic’s ongoing exploration of genre crossover, combining elements from across the electronic spectrum while maintaining the melodic and emotional sensibility that has become central to his sound.

“This EP feels like finding a light I didn’t know I was looking for. A reflection of the things I once loved, the moments that made me who I am, and the parts of myself I had left behind. I grew up behind the camera, always capturing little moments, and watching life through a lens. Now, somehow, I’ve found myself on the other side of it. This project is me stepping into the frame. Every memory, every little piece of nostalgia brought me closer to myself again. Everything I’ve loved along the way, shaping me into the person I am today. The EP is about remembering who I’ve always been.”
