South America’s fast-rising house head Facu Baez makes his debut on Insomniac’s sub-label IN / ROTATION with his new single. Slated for release on December 16th, “UNDERGROUND STATION” is a dark and menacing tech track, presenting the groove technician at his most audacious.

Since first bursting onto the scene in 2020, Facu Baez has placed the highest value on never staying static. “UNDERGROUND STATION” is a slamming tech house track epitomizing his experimental nature. Its heavy yet stripped-down groove utilizes little elements all at once to cause complete club impairment. Tough hip-hop vocal loops pan and echo in a manner that distorts reality, while tiny leftfield details push the record off its tracks. Piercing thriller synth swells, offbeat reverberating bass guitar plucks, industrial tones, bitcrushed psychedelic streaks, grating low-end growls, and a modulating doppler synth capstone move in and out of the mix with clinical precision.
