Fiona Kraft is a multi-talented creative who has quickly established this label as a place of musical freedom and expression. The former model brings her piano playing skills to her music, whether creating melodic techno, Afro house, or prog. She has played in more than 60 countries around the world, and this year will appear at Hi Ibiza, ULTRA Music Festival, and fabric, among many other events. Italian LOV is ever more the go-to vocalist for house producers around the world. She’s worked on labels like Nervous Records, Capsule Music and with the likes of CASSIMM and Jackie Hollander, and this is the second time she has sung on a Fiona Kraft production.
Fiona says this was written as a more introspective and personal song that echoed “music I used to listen to when I was young and on family car trips. I did this beat and harmony, and then I jammed with my dad. He did a few minutes of solo over my bass, and the song slowly started to make me feel something familiar. “LOV wrote the lyrics after a night out when she couldn’t sleep. “The words ‘I need to let go, let go’ were looping in my head. It wouldn’t stop, so I decided to write down the first verse in my notes and left it at that. Some time later, Fiona sent me the instrumental, and I remember thinking, Wow, this would be perfect for what I wrote down the other night. I wrote it almost like a letter to myself about the constant tension between surrender and control, between escaping pain and chasing ecstasy. For me, it’s about inner demons: wanting to rise above them but also being afraid to let go of the identity or comfort they bring.“
‘Let Go’ is a mature, electronic lullaby—an intimate invitation to pause, reflect and surrender. Its warm, bubbling drums gently pulse while moody minor chords and delicate effects lend depth and subtle complexity. The vocals are rich and reassuring, flowing with heartfelt warmth that soothes as much as it stirs. As the track unfolds, an epic prog guitar rings out in heartache, and emotions soar to new heights.
