Málaga’s much anticipated new outdoor and open air event series Sophie has revealed its stunning location. The bespoke purpose-built venue, situated at Jardines del Palacio de Congresos de Torremolinos, boasts an L-Acoustic sound system, a local mini market and first class food offerings. After an electric opening party with Paul Kalkbrenner, Giorgia Angiuli (live), Mandar (Lazare Hoche, S.A.M, Malin Genie) and Janeret, the space is set to host events every Sunday afternoon and evening from July 3rd to August 28th.
This 3000 capacity open air and sun kissed venue has been specially built for this series and will remain in place till the end of summer. The design of it is all about creating a special energy and welcoming atmosphere that pairs the natural beauty and culture of the area with cutting edge sounds. The dance floor is surrounded by nature, with lush greenery and plenty of organic materials making for a place where people can really feel they belong.
Each day it will host a mini market showcasing the best of local artisanal wares. There will also be mouthwatering authentic food offerings from one of the best traders in the game, Jamon Serrano de Bellota, alongside a wealth of fresh regional bites and produce.
Sophie is all about bringing something new, fresh and exciting to Málaga. All the people behind the project have lived there for years and now fully exploit the potential of Spain’s third largest city in terms of tourism, foreign investment, social development, global airport connections and economic growth in general.

August sees [a:rpia:r] and Praslea, Dan Andrei, Apollonia, Craig Richards b2b Nicolas Lutz, Gene on Earth, Sugar Free, Fonte, Mathew Jonson (live), Sonja Moonear, Priku, plus secret guests.
