FKA TWIGS IS NIKE’S NEW CREATIVE DIRECTOR, BRINGS INDIVIDUALISM TO ATHLETICWEAR
FKA Twigs has been unveiled as the face of Nike as the creative director for their Spring 2017 launch. Styled by Matthew Josephs and shot in Mexico City by David Uzochukwu, Twigs is shown in the collection with a group of musicians, artists, and athletes that have inspired the dancer/singer in some capacity.
About her creative direction, Twigs explains-
“’It’s] an opportunity to show young people that they have the power to become the best version of themselves. Do you believe that, in six months’ time, you’ll be able to run like that, or jump like that? Do you believe that you’ll be able to train longer? Do you believe that you can get in your best physical shape? Do you believe that you can use your confidence to get that promotion, or finish that creative project?”.
Well, one thing is for sure, she’s inspiring the world to be the best version of themselves with style and grace and proud individualism in tow.
