Fleur Rouge releases the scorching future-pop song Wasteland

Wasteland is the latest single release from London-born French-raised future-pop artist, Fleur Rouge. The Manchester based pop star is an exciting talent who seamlessly blends brooding, dark electronica with thudding beats and upbeat pop-inflected choruses.

Fleur’s vibrant take on the genre has already attracted attention from tastemakers ranging from Clash Magazine to Ones To Watch.

Wasteland follows on from the successful release of ‘Cold Feet’ in May; a single that picked up a week of press including Clash Magazine who described Fleur’s future-pop style as, “… matching the astute songwriting of BANKS, to her natural over-sharing lyricism.”

Picking up where ‘Cold Feet’ left off, Fleur incorporates personal, biographical lyrics into joyous dance floor-ready music. With lines such as, “…I’m so done with all the bullshit, sycophants and fake friends…” Fleur continues to explore themes of self-indulgence, objectifying gazes, emotional unavailability, sycophants and fake friends on forthcoming EP What Makes You Think I Care?.

Fleur’s imaginative brand of electro-pop has already seen her pick up press support from far and wide. ‘Cold Feet’ was an immediate hit gaining traction on the likes of PopMuzikPop Passion BlogMusic & FashionIggy MagazineFame Magazine and many more.

Wasteland is out now and is taken from EP What Makes You Think I Care?, due for release in 2023.
