Italian-born, London-based artist, DJ, and producer Francesca Lombardo returns to her Echolette imprint this September with ‘Inside Out’, a three-part release that distils her signature fusion of analogue warmth and ethereal vocals into one hypnotic statement.
‘Inside Out’ is anchored by a deep, reverb-heavy 80s-inspired bassline, looping with heartbeat intensity beneath shimmering chords and Lombardo’s delay-soaked vocal refrain. Gradually lifting from minimal spaciousness into a vibrant mid-section led by warm Minimoog motifs, the track balances vintage textures with contemporary clarity, offering a journey both introspective and expansive. Alongside the original, the ‘Dub Version’ strips away the vocal to dive headfirst. into analogue instrumentation and groove in full focus, while the Acapella showcases Lombardo’s captivating and ethereal delivery in isolation. Together, the package highlights her dual strength as both producer and vocalist, providing a journey where synth nostalgia meets contemporary finesse.
