Following the successful launch of SUNCTURE earlier this year, FunkT!de stepped into the spotlight with Hold It Right There, a groove-rich house record that further establishes the label’s identity as a home for warm, musical and emotionally resonant electronic music.
Out now, Hold It Right There is the second release on SUNCTURE, following the label’s debut offering, Echoes of Light — a collaborative three-track EP from Sunora and FunkT!de that introduced the imprint’s signature blend of melodic depth, organic textures and dancefloor-focused energy.
Built around infectious rhythms, playful vocal hooks and a rolling low-end groove, Hold It Right There showcases FunkT!de’s knack for crafting records that feel equally at home in open-air settings and peak-time club environments. Combining classic house sensibilities with a modern production approach and an unmistakeable trumpet breakdown, the track delivers a timeless energy that reflects both the artist’s musical character and the broader vision behind SUNCTURE.
Since launching in April, SUNCTURE has quickly begun carving out its own space within the melodic house and indie dance landscape. Founded by Sunora as a platform for music driven by instinct, atmosphere and timeless groove, the label has already demonstrated a clear artistic direction through its carefully curated early releases.
Sunora — the collaborative project of Chertkovski and Alar — launched the imprint alongside Echoes of Light, a project that encapsulated the warm, emotive sound they envisioned for the label. The duo have continued to build momentum throughout 2026, following their acclaimed collaboration Bianco Montana with Lee Burridge on All Day I Dream and earning support from BBC Radio 1 and tastemakers across the global electronic music scene.
As one of SUNCTURE’s earliest collaborators and a key contributor to its launch phase, FunkT!de has played an important role in helping define the label’s sonic identity. Hold It Right There highlights his ability to balance dancefloor functionality with groove, character and musical detail, offering another glimpse into the sound world SUNCTURE is cultivating.
Arriving between the launch of Echoes of Light and subsequent releases from the label, Hold It Right There serves as a statement of intent from both artist and imprint alike — a record rooted in house music’s timeless foundations while looking firmly towards the future.
