Fur Coat returns to Last Night On Earth with Barcelona-based DJ and producer ELIF for the EP ‘Hold Me Close’, releasing on Last Night On Earth on the 24th of July. Fur Coat is a driving force in melodic house, spearheaded by Venezuelan-born DJ, Producer, and Øddity label boss, Sergio Muñoz. Through his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Balance Presents Series and performances globally, Fur Coat has built a reputation for his emotive melodic sound and rolling grooves. Releases on labels Crosstown Rebels, Renaissance, and Watergate have showcased Fur Coat’s commitment to progressive records and garnered support from Solomun, Tale Of Us, Pete Tong, John Digweed, and more.
Known for her emotionally driven yet groove-led melodic house sound, ELIF has been recognised and platformed by labels including Anjunadeep, Stil vor Talent, Get Physical, and more for her versatility and exploration of unconventional sounds. She has built a home for emerging talent with her Barcelona-based melodic house and techno record label, Marginalia, representing forward-thinking artists at events around the world.
The ‘Hold Me Close’ EP presents two club-ready melodic house tracks. ‘Hold Me Close’ opens the EP as an emotive peak-time cut; bubbling bassline and flitting textures filter through whilst charged piano chords and kick drums build anticipation, creating a track full of twists and turns. Glitching vocals and textures are layered over dynamic piano chords and chugging bass synths in ‘Took My Time’, a track built for late-night excursions.
‘Hold Me Close’ will be released via Last Night On Earth on July 24th 2026.
