Hailing from Newcastle, Gaskin is the brains behind the Bass Jamz operation, the label and event series that has cut through the noise of the UK house circuit with its culture-first philosophy. Every track he produces reflects that same authenticity, with refined, groove-laden productions that have earned him the coveted BBC Radio 1’s ‘Hottest Record’ status, as well as heavy support from tastemakers including Patrick Topping and Chris Stussy.
For his Factory 93 Records debut, Gaskin brings his dancefloor instincts to the fore. “Ultraman” oozes ‘90s rave nostalgia, interspersing its timelessness across propulsive drum work, proggy synth leads, and raw MC vocal loops. The sum of its sleek textures equates to a record built for big rooms and even bigger festivals. Created in the wake of Gaskin’s set at Creamfields, performing in front of 20,000 ravers, “Ultraman” distills that energy into track-form. It has served its purpose ever since, causing an uproar at Amnesia Ibiza’s closing parties and a string of dates at ADE. The momentum is set to continue as he takes it to his upcoming open-to-close warehouse session at Nowhere in Manchester.
Shedding light on the moment that sparked the idea for his new single, Gaskin says, “Music with feeling wins over just making slammers for clubs, if you make a track with feeling, that’s when people are going to want to listen to it in 50 years’ time—that’s when timeless music is made. This is what I try to do with all my music, ‘Ultraman’ is a good example of that.”
Tying in old-school elements with forward-thinking influences, “Ultraman” is a testament as to why Gaskin remains one of the most talked about talents in the UK.
Gaskin’s new single “Ultraman” is available on all platforms via Factory 93 Records.

More About Factory 93
Factory 93 explores the intersection of untethered creativity and bold self-expression, while never taking its finger off the pulse of the underground. When Insomniac broke out its figurative bolt cutters to dismantle the lock on the warehouse scene and return to its roots, it retold the story of its origins in hosting historic parties in the streets of Los Angeles. It also gave birth to a movement where discerning heads are living on the frontlines of celebrating radical ideas through the fusion of immersive live art, cutting-edge technology, and exceptionally curated house and techno. That vision continues to hold the same ground, even as the brand has grown and extends beyond the Downtown Los Angeles warehouse district, where it was originally conceived. Whether it’s at an intimate warehouse space or on a festival dancefloor, Factory 93 manufactures moments that make this culture one we’re proud to call our own. Since launching its own dedicated label arm, the burgeoning imprint has opened its catalog to a head-turning list of established artists and rising talent, such as Carl Cox, Eli Brown, Nicole Moudaber, Space 92, Alan Fitzpatrick, Popof, Victor Ruiz, BEC, Avision, Luuk Van Dijk, Josh Butler, Township Rebellion, DJ Minx, Josh Butler, Airrica, RUZE, Enamour, and many more.
