Los Angeles, CA – Friday, June 12 – Italian electronic powerhouse GENESI and Paris-born, London-based producer-songwriter Xoro join forces for their new single, “Cheat Code,” out now via Insomniac Records. Recruiting UK singer-songwriter Aya Anne and Mither, the track is a commanding melodic house and techno offering built around a magnetic vocal duet and an immersive, dark sonic landscape.
On “Cheat Code,” Aya Anne and Mither trade vocal roles across the track, her cool, measured delivery set against his more abrasive, rapid-fire bars, creating a contrast that gives the record a genuine sense of momentum. The production is built around pitch-sliding synth leads, a driving low-end, and ticking percussive details that accumulate into something relentless.
GENESI previously appeared on Insomniac Records with “See You Sweat” alongside Max Styler and “Edge of the World” with MEDUZA, which collectively have amassed over 16 million streams. Additionally, the Italian native has previous releases on Diynamic, including the explosive ‘Freak’ EP with MEDUZA and his solo ‘Hyper’ EP, which drew support from Anyma, Solomun, and leading selectors across the global circuit.

The Paris-born, London-based producer Xoro has built a reputation at the intersection of underground club culture and crossover dance music, working alongside Fisher, Chris Lake, MEDUZA, Topic, and Marlon Hoffstadt, among others. His breakthrough single “Face Mask On” surpassed 100 million streams, while a high-profile collaboration with Armin van Buuren and Mathew V further expanded his global reach. Xoro has also delivered remixes for Joel Corry, Jax Jones, and PS1.
Aya Anne is a frequent creative collaborator with GENESI, having previously worked together on “Freak” with MEDUZA, “Karma” with Rivo, and “DNA” alongside Adam Beyer. Mither, the alter-ego of DRS — one of Manchester’s most acclaimed MCs — follows a string of 2024 singles, with his main alias boasting eight studio albums to date and collaborations with Turno, Bou, S.P.Y, LSB, Enei, Dub Phizix, Visages, and Calibre.
