Grace Amulet – Into The Dark

Fresh off the success of her debut single, ‘Hades,’ singer-songwriter Grace Amulet returns with her apocalyptic dark pop anthem, ‘Into The Dark,’ out now across platforms.

Written during a reflective night in her childhood bedroom while visiting family, ‘Into the Dark’ explores life’s contrasting beauty and brutality. The track combines layered synths, hypnotic piano samples, and Grace’s haunting vocals, weaving together a neon-lit dystopian soundscape. “It’s kind of like a pop song for the end of the world,” says Grace. “My hometown had burned down in one of the 2015 fires, and I was in love in a doomed situation, but I felt alive.”

Grace shares more about the song’s inspiration: “This song is about the crazy flip sides of being alive. Extreme fear and anxiety, the numbness of feeling like you can’t do anything to change the horrible things in the world. But also the beauty and magic of loving other people — the way love can make you feel invincible at the same time. I was in this strange place where a bunch of hard things happened at once, fires, hurricanes, illness, being hurt by people I trusted, and I was really trying to make sense of life. I also had sparks, someone I was in love with, incredible friends and family, and so much to be grateful for. I was trying to understand how to hold it all at the same time instead of being overwhelmed by bad feelings. The hard things that happened made the good things seem so much more incredible, and I wanted to romanticize the human experience for myself a little.”

Grace Amulet is on a quest and invites you along on the journey. Drawing from influences such as Lorde, Florence And The Machine, and Aurora, she began songwriting at an early age, mastering the piano and experimenting with recording to refine her unique style. After establishing herself as an independent force within Los Angeles’ music scene, her talent caught the attention of Love Conquered Records (LCR). Her latest offering, ‘Into The Dark,’ seamlessly blends somber tones with an undercurrent of hope.
