Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Wippenberg continues his highly anticipated comeback with the release of “Oi!” a high-energy hard dance weapon making his debut on Teletech on the 17th Jul.
The German producer started his career in 1995, his track ‘Neurodancer’ remains as one of the biggest acid trance / rave tracks of the 90’s with major support on Radio 1 and featured on the first Essential Mix double CD. Today the track is still played out by artists including KiKI, Marlon Hoffstadt, Pegassi and Benwal, along with current day support of his early 2000’s remixes for Van Dahl’s ‘Castles In The Sky’, ATB, Fragma, Tiesto and Blank & Jones. Wippenberg’s productions are being picked up by a new generation.
The studio engineer, and label owner of Get Wipped! Records took a break from music production along with a 10-year break from socials media, retuning in 2025, with his self-titled solo project.
Following recent releases including ‘You Spin Me Round’ on Hannah Laing’s DOOF Records, ‘Explode’ with Mika Heggemann, and his latest release ‘The Path’ (Get Up Dance) supported by Azyr and DJ Hyperdrive, Wippenberg once again proves why he remains one of electronic music’s most versatile and forward-thinking producers. He has built a reputation for blending euphoric melodies with peak-time energy, constantly pushing boundaries across the electronic dance spectrum and now, together with Teletech, he delivers ‘Oi!’.
A hard dance banger driven by raw rave energy, pounding production, and an unforgettable ska/punk-inspired vocal hook that’s impossible not to shout along to. One thing is certain: “Oi!” is built for festival season. Loud, rebellious and made for massive crowds, this could easily become one of the standout hard dance tracks of the summer.
