The prolific Groove Assassin returns to Soulfuric with another remix of a house classic, ‘Blend’ by Masterbuilders. The widely respected UK producer and DJ Groove Assassin is known for his extensive knowledge of electronic genres, building his catalogue from choice cuts for heads in the know.
His recent output includes an edit of 2023’s ‘Hallelujah In Heaven’ from legendary artists Ben Westbeech and KON as The Vision on Defected, and his 2024 remix of Melba Moore’s ‘My Heart Belongs To You’ on Soulfuric. Originally re-tweaked by Soulfuric founders Brian Tappert and Marc Pomeroy as Jazz-N-Groove back in the early noughties, Groove Assassin now adds his signature touch to ‘Blend’ by Masterbuilders, giving the cool, soulful club cut a gritty edge.
