Hannah Laing and Marlon Hoffstadt have teamed up on a new single, ‘Stomp Your Feet’. Out now via Laing’s doof label, the hard dance track is the duo’s first collaboration and features vocals from Caroline Roxy. It’s inspired by a viral video of Laing DJing, which saw her stomping her feet behind the decks.
In a statement, she said: “Making a hard dance record with Marlon Hoffstadt, someone I’ve genuinely loved and looked up to for years, feels surreal. When that video of me stomping my feet behind the decks went crazy online, it just made sense to turn that energy into something real. ‘Stomp Your Feet’ creates a pure energy on the dancefloor, especially with Caroline Roxy’s playful vocals.”
Hoffstadt added: “I’ve been a fan of Hannah and what she’s been building with doof for a while, so when she reached out about producing ‘Stomp Your Feet’ together, it felt really natural to me. From the very beginning, I knew we had something special. When I played it in Australia and the crowd completely lost it, that was all the confirmation I needed. I’m so happy it’s finally out in the world and that dancefloors everywhere can go wild to it.”
