London-based producer Haskell gears up for his debut appearance on Insomniac’s acclaimed offshoot imprint, IN / ROTATION, taking the form of his new two-track offering titled ‘The Power of Speech,’ set to drop on April 1st.

The title track, “The Power of Speech” is a potent tech house cut stuffed to the gills with vigor, as its rubbery synth plucks, rolling basslines, crisp claps, sharp clanks, and bouncy drums work in unison to prop up a classic house music oration that will speak to the multitude. On the flipside, “Work” builds on the crowd-pleasing momentum, infusing rally house-inspired piano stabs with explosive, groove-laden drops and a syncopated vocal sample that radiates pure club energy.
Haskell, a seasoned producer previously known as James Haskell, is a groove specialist standing behind a decade-long career of crafting percussive workouts and club-ready house tools. His music has earned support from some of the biggest names in dance music, most recently having the honor of providing support for the living legend Carl Cox at the Brighton Beach Music Festival. Additionally, he has released music alongside DJ S.K.T, Gene Farris, and Mark Knight, with his “Go Deep” collaboration with the latter earning radio support from BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM UK.
As Haskell presses onward and upward within the competitive ranks of house music’s finest, ‘The Power of Speech’ two-track offering allows the UK phenom to showcase his strengths in the studio to swathes of groove aficionados Stateside.
