Italian duo Riccardo and Simone, aka Havoc & Lawn, have had a bright eighteen months following releases on Solid Grooves Raw, Repopulate Mars, Sink Or Swim and NONSTOP and appearances at notable venues from Cocoricò to Ministry Of Sound. After heavy recent support from label boss Cloonee, the pairing finally reveal their ‘Chupala’ EP on Hellbent Records as they unveil two tracks that have been long-standing ‘ID’ requests for many.
Title cut ‘Chupala’ is a rolling, percussion-led groover guided by hooky female vocals and snaking bass grooves, while ‘Tucatu’ welcomes weighty low-ends, punchy kicks and further vocal interjections to keep the energy levels nice and high.
