Hot Bullet, a production project helmed by Brazilian artist Marco Violent, is a prominent player within his local scene’s festival and club circuit, appearing regularly at Tomorrowland Brazil and Tribe Festival, and has racked up an impressive portfolio of releases on major imprints such as Sony Music, Universal, and Hellbent Records. Welcoming a new label to his catalogue, mid-November brings a debut outing on Lee Foss’ South Of Saturn for Hot Bullet as he unveils his ‘Breakdance’ EP.
A track already in rotation for Vintage Culture and Franky Rizardo, ‘Breakdance’ brings together punchy kicks, murky low-end and sharp metallic tones over a sleazy rapped vocal before ‘Scream’ lays down crisp percussion, playful rhythms, and trippy FX to shape up an infectious label debut.
