February 10th, 2023 — Breakout house producer warner case and Brazil’s leading electronic tastemaker Bhaskar signed to Monstercat today, joining forces for their anticipated first collaboration, “do my own thing.” With a mesmerizing blend of their distinct stylings, the moody pads, addictive groove, and sultry bassline have all the makings of a dancefloor heater set to draw crowds this festival season. While Bhaskar laid the track’s foundation, the lyricism reflects warner case’s journey to self-confidence, reminding listeners to embrace their unique individual path in a world of unhealthy comparison. Fans can look forward to hearing the new record live from Bhaskar at EDC Mexico this month, as well as warner case when he opens for Flight Facilities at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco.

warner case shares, “For me, “do my own thing” is about mining myself for confidence in an insecure world that constantly compares people to each other, especially on social media. It can be really challenging to believe in yourself, especially when it feels like everyone else is doing better, earning more, and looking sexier. So, it’s empowering to truly believe that you’re the only person like you, and to find strength in that. There’s a unique path for everyone.”
Bhaskar adds, “I’m super excited to be releasing “do my own thing” with warner case. One more time, we see music connecting two different minds to create something really original.”
Classically trained percussionist and self-taught producer warner case has been on everyone’s radar lately. He landed on Billboard’s 50 Best Dance Songs in 2022, garnered support from heavyweights such as Disclosure, Kaskade, and Oliver Heldens, and joined Polo & Pan on their East Coast run last year. The new record ushers in more infectious club cuts and shows to come this year.
At the age of 12, Bhaskar dove into music production and has since become a force in the Brazilian dance music circuit. With over half a billion streams, his biggest hits include “Fuego,” in collaboration with his brother Alok. He’s toured across the globe playing shows and festivals including Lollapalooza Brazil, Rock in Rio, and Universo Paralello, which he helped produce, and is gearing up for more live performances ahead, such as Tomorrowland this year.
warner case Bio
Often compared to ZHU and Duke Dumont, and for some reason Ed Sheeran, warner case is a New York based classically trained percussionist who taught himself to produce while studying at Cornell University and working at Jimi Hendrix’s famed Electric Lady Studios. case is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, and cat lover with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences. He can run the mile in 2 minutes.
Repped internationally by Wilhelmina Models, case has shared the stage with Disclosure, Flight Facilities, Virgil Abloh, The Magician, Dom Dolla, Gorgon City, among many others. His unique brand of raw, infectious dance music is appreciated worldwide, and receives support from notable acts like Kaskade, Martin Solveig, Louis the Child, and Grammy winner Latroit. He once beat Shaq at chess.
His music shakes radio waves and club speakers worldwide, and he hates self-indulgent bios like this, which he wrote himself. He recently released two collabs which made a lot of noise in the industry, “summer on the inside” with french producer Jean Tonique and “believe in ghosts” with dutch house king Oliver Heldens. He just started a partnership with UTA in North America for tour representation starting with a nice tour across the east coast alongside Polo & Pan. His latest EP ‘Dance Music For Dancing, Vol. 3’ released at the end of 2022.
