The infectious energy is combined with catchy melodies for a captivating summer pool party sensation. The uplifting soundscape showcases a newfound side of the duo’s artistry, highlighting their lauded ever-evolving production skills.

BIJOU has captured the hearts of the house realm and beyond. He has set a high benchmark in the G-house movement, including his collaborations with like-minded leaders such as AC Slater and Dr. Fresch, to working on records with rappers like Denzel Curry and Wifisfuneral, and has received momentous support and playouts from Destructo, Don Diablo, and more. His in-demand tours have taken him to renowned festivals and venues including Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo, Academy LA, Petco Park, and many more.

Since Tchami recognized him in 2018, Belgian producer Honey & Badger has been making a soaring rise in the electronic scene. His passion for house music and his country shines through his impressive range of production styles, with tracks that are often named after Belgium’s finest goods. With support from industry giants like Martin Garrix, Lost Frequencies, and Oliver Heldens, as well as being named on Dancing Astronaut’s Artist to Watch list in 2022, he is on way to establishing himself as a prominent house visionary.

BIJOU shares, “When Honey & Badger sent me the original of the song I was going through a break up and really wanted to create something uplifting that would essentially take me into the next aspect of my life. So the vocals themselves really resonated with me as “Daybreak” felt like a new sense of life moving forward. I took that emotion into the studio and allowed it to drive forward and really unleash it into the music. My hope is that the fans and listeners can have a sense of what I was feeling and going through during the production process. This is one of the reasons I feel music is so special as it’s an outlet to allow the fans into my thoughts and feelings through sound.”

Honey & Badger shares, “I remember what I felt when I found those vocals. I thought they were empowering and uplifting. I’m so glad BIJOU found the perfect production to accompany them. I hope it’ll make listeners feel the same way as I did. The track is definitely deeper and more “emotional” than my previous work, if that makes sense. It’s the kind of track that gets stuck in your head. I love this direction and I’ll explore it more in the future.”

Fans can currently catch BIJOU on his summer tour that runs through the fall, on which he is gearing up for his festival slot at Midnight Forever Fest in Papineauville, Québec this weekend, his opening slot for Big Gigantic at Red Rocks on September 29th, and is also making his way to bass festival Lost Lands as one of the few house acts on the lineup.

BIJOU Bio

BIJOU has not only set a new standard; he is the new standard. As a distinguished leader in the g-house movement, this DJ/producer has consistently proven he has what it takes to thrive in the scene, even despite the hardships the industry faces today.

BIJOU, real name Ben Dorman, has gained all the necessary street cred and then some, starting with his show-stopping collaboration with Dr. Fresch, “Hello,” in 2016. Cue six career-defining years, a hot streak of successful singles (i.e. “Crown” feat. Tyler Graves, “Floetry” feat. Ro Ransom) and EPs (i.e. ‘Gangsta Party,’ ‘Super Phat’), four headlining US tours — and BIJOU has taken over to no shock.

Riding the momentum of his massive ‘Crown Tour,’ BIJOU continued writing and refining material that would become his debut album, ‘Diamond City.’ With this new release, BIJOU puts Phoenix on the map and carries the city on his back with his distinct hybrid fusion of bass house, tech house and closely related genres. Featuring standout collaborations, “Benjamins” feat. Wifisfuneral, “FTP” feat. Denzel Curry, “Baller” feat. Cuban Doll, and “WHOA” feat. Party Favor, this instant classic album has reiterated BIJOU’s indispensable presence in the scene and will stay well rinsed for years to come.

Reflecting on BIJOU’s career thus far, much can be attributed to his strong work ethic and endless nights spent in the studio. By infusing timeless styles of hip hop and classic house, BIJOU stays satisfying the current house craving with productions live enough for the underground, but mean enough to hold down any main stage.
