House Sensation Viot Debuts Double-Sided Single “Flex/Cardio” on Nu Moda Records

Los Angeles, CA – Friday, July 3 – Brazilian producer Viot debuts on Max Styler’Nu Moda imprint with his double-sided single “Flex / Cardio,” both cuts intending to capture the energy at different points of a night out experience.

Based in Belo Horizonte, Viot is an artist whose records have remained on a steep incline since launching the project in 2021. With a keen sense for art, fashion, and music, the house sensation exhibits a sophistication in an output taking inspiration from Bossa Nova, techno, Brazilian hip-hop, pop, and house.

The lead track “Flex” is a deep tech track focused on peak-time when the vibes reach their apex. A memorable rap catchphrase, inspired by classic UK MC style, serves as the track’s focal point, reappearing as echoed vocal chops, while a staccato bassline anchors the groove with a hypnotic edge. Crisp claps, hissing hi-hats, intermittent hoovers, risers, and dark fills weave through the arrangement, giving the track a dark, driving energy that draws listeners deeper into its after-hours mood.

The companion cut “Cardio” captures the late-night hours when clubgoers lose themselves in the music. An unwavering rhythm anchors the groove with a hypnotic edge, instantly transporting listeners to the absolute peak of the night. A rolling bassline, stripped-back synth loops, and sporadic vocal chops weave through the arrangement, making the record a flawless choice for letting an out-of-body sensation take complete control.

Viot has released collabs with fellow artists like Vintage Culture, Gabe, Vinter (BR), Max (BR), and Illusionize, as well as remixes for Marco Strous, Prok & Fitch, and DJ Chus. His music has earned recognition from Michael Bibi, The Martinez Brothers, BLOND:ISH, Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, and Diplo, with his “Anthem” collab with Vintage Culture racking up more than 1.24M streams, and drawing attention from major international radio stations.

He is currently on the final leg of his North American run of dates, including Westlight Rooftop Brooklyn, Jolene Soundroom, Walter Studios, and Soluna, as well as shows in Brazil at Rock In Rio, Tulum Salinas, Douha Club, Muriqui Sounds, and Piquenique Combu

“Flex and Cardio are my way of translating the energy and excitement of a night out into music. To me, Flex represents that peak-time moment on the dancefloor, while Cardio captures the point when the night starts heating up, and the energy begins to build.” – Viot
