I. JORDAN has dropped a new track. ‘Proper Silly’ is the DJ and producer’s debut on Armada Music.According to the London-based artist, the label “shaped me massively growing up”, going on to say they “own about 80% of the back catalogue”. The tune is inspired by “northern big bangers that don’t take themselves too seriously”, and comes complete with a timelessly rave-y hoover line.
I. JORDAN marked the release with an hour-long Rinse FM show dedicated to tracks that inspired their latest effort. The broadcast included DJ Jean’s 1999 anthem, ‘The Launch’, and Benny Benassi’s ‘Satisfaction’ mixed into Zombie Nation.
“No chin-stroking business here, it’s not that deep,” they added.
I. JORDAN has a number of UK, US and European dates coming up in the next few months. These include Paris spot Trabendo, KLUB CAMINA X WITH US in Strasbourg, Goodroom New York City, Philadelphia’s BUMP and Hidden in Manchester.
