Camila Isasi is an exciting emerging name in the house world. Based in Ibiza and active as a DJ since 2017, she plays across the house spectrum, always with depth and soul, whether exploring Afro, melodic or more tech-leaning sounds. She has already performed at iconic venues on the island, such as Lío Ibiza, as well as other spots like UM Beachclub and KOBA, and this impressive new track marks her production debut in style.
Says the artist, “When I made this song, a friend of mine had just passed away. ‘Hanami’ literally means ‘to contemplate the flowers’, and that’s what he did: enjoy life and be present. So this song was a reminder that you have to be more present in what you do and not think about everything you have to do and just sit and look at the flowers.”
The beautiful ‘HANAMI’ is a tender, deep rolling house sound with pensive synths and gentle organic percussion. There is melancholy in the chords and soul-stirring strength in the shimmering vocal that rises out of the mix. It’s a cultured track rich in artistry, marking a magnificent start to Camila Isasi’s production journey.
