The Dutch producer celebrates tonight with a release party at ADE featuring a line up of bass music’s rising stars
Rising bass producer IMANU has released his hotly anticipated, genre-bending new EP PARADISE, with a release party set to follow tonight at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) at the iconic Melkweg.

Continuing to push the boundaries of the bass scene, the 8-track EP includes latest single ‘Rush’, an atmospheric collaboration with Zeds Dead which features cascading synths and vocals from KUCKA, as well as previous single ‘Aching (On A High)’, a hard-hitting rave weapon featuring Lia. Other tracks show off IMANU’s stylistic range, crossing genres from the grungy, brutalist synth soundscape of ‘Dream Sequence’ to the blistering drums and haunting melodies of ‘Of Two Minds’ with Rhode. Moving into the EP’s back stretch, ‘Fingertips’ starts as aheartfelt piano ballad before erupting into a ferocious groove, YAANO and VISLA collab ‘Life Like This’ ups the tempo with a furious breakbeat, and ‘The Blade’ sees IMANU conjuring dark and jagged dubstep manoeuvres. Finally, ‘Eind (Outro)’ closes out on a fittingly euphoric high, adorning a soulful vocal sample with otherworldly synths.
Hosted by electronic music events ADE and co-promoted by Curated by, tonight’s PARADISE release event will showcase an exciting new generation of talent on the bass scene: an all-star case comprising of London-based SICARIA, Dutch drum & bass producer Buunshin, singer-songwriter LaMeduza, Toulouse-based collective Visages, hotly tipped French producer The Caracal Project and festival favourites The Glitch Mob, all playing diverse multi-tempo, genre-hopping sets.
Rising to the spotlight at the age of just 16 under his former alias, Signal, with his brutalist style of music, IMANU has developed his presence on the scene as one of the greats. Now in his 20s, he’s already had releases on significant labels such as Deadbeats, UKF and VISION, released his debut EP UNFOLD on Deadbeats in 2022, and has over 9.5 million streams on Spotify alone plus another 3.6 million on the remix package that was released in spring 2023 . His remixes for the likes of Apashe, TOKiMONSTA and What So Not & Skrillex have gained over 26 million Spotify streams, and he has also collaborated with the likes of Noisia, Pham and josh pan.
Bringing together innovative production and a talented cast of collaborators, the release of the PARADISE EPpromises to continue the rise of one of electronic music’s brightest talents.
