Indira Paganotto and Nile Rodgers have collaborated for the first time on a new single, ‘Arte Como Amante’.
The somewhat unlikely link-up came about after the two artists met in Miami, and it sees them combine punchy techno with sounds that reference Paganotto’s Spanish roots.
“This track started in 2020, when I was feeling a little lost, and needed to get back to my roots and away from the big crowds and techno,” Paganotto said, adding that she needed “a track that I can play in the car, that leaves a smile on my face, and I feel that’s exactly what this does.”
The new single arrives off the back of a landmark year for Paganotto which has seen her play Coachella for the first time, while also playing stand-out b2b sets with the likes of Sara Landry, Amelie Lens and Armin van Buuren. She also held down her first Club Room residency at Hï Ibiza for 14 weeks through the summer.
