Canada-based DJ and producer INFEKT is set to make a seismic impact in the dance music space with the unveiling of his new EP, “Veggie Friends: Remixes“. The highly-anticipated project breathes new life into the sensational tracks from his October-released EP, ‘Veggie Friends“. Featuring an eclectic array of genre-defining artists, the 18-track collection serves as a creative reimagining, transforming each original into a fresh, exhilarating production. The latest to come from the blossoming bass talent showcases a symphony of styles and sounds, each remix adding a distinct and dynamic twist to his groundbreaking work. “Veggie Friends: Remixes” is a bass extravaganza, boasting a stellar roster including Emorfik, Hamro, Ecraze, Automhate, Decimate, Space Wizard, Sora, Blankface, Samplifire, Riot Ten, Jiqui, Mad Dubz, Bainbridge, Versa, G Syza, Calcium, Jessica Audiffred, and Empty Stomach. Each artist infuses INFEKT‘s original production with their signature flair, creating a tapestry of remixes that radiate vibrancy and unbridled energy.
Productions like “Feedback”, “Be Kind, Rewind”, and “Chef’s Kiss” receive a transformative rebirth under the adept hands of these artists. Riot Ten’s rendition of “Be Kind, Rewind” is a bass-laden powerhouse, replete with intense basslines and razor-sharp synths, while Jessica Audiffred’s “Jiggle Jam” remix envelops listeners in a mesmerizing, warbling soundscape.

When we first asked who wants to do a remix, I was absolutely thrilled about the amount of responses, and I’m so happy we got some of my absolute favorite artists on it. ECRAZE’s “BE KIND” remix is a juxtaposition of title and sound, unleashing a menacing, bass-heavy assault that captivates with its mechanical ferocity. HAMRO‘s version of the same track weaves rhythmic complexity into its core, building suspense that crescendos into a pulsating bass wave.
Emorfik injects a dark, brooding energy into “BE KIND, REWIND”, dominated by soul-crushing basslines, while Samplifire’s “Chef’s Kiss” remix is a rhythmic masterpiece, intricately layered with detailed percussion and mind-bending sonic textures. BLANKFACE’s interpretation of the same track showcases his mastery of riddim, crafting a complex auditory landscape.
