ISAAC WINEMILLER RELEASES NEW DOUBLE SINGLE ‘SOLAR ECLIPSE’, LED BY FOCUS TRACK ‘IN THIS LIGHT’

A person with long hair stands under a clear umbrella in a rain-soaked city street, surrounded by illuminated signs and storefronts.

Isaac Winemiller – the Bozeman, Montana-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter and collaborator / touring member of sensational bedroom pop band Vansire – returns today with Solar Eclipse, a new double single led by focus track ‘In this Light’, out 22nd May 2026… one of the Rocky Mountain region’s most compelling solo projects to date!

The release marks Isaac Winemiller’s first since his 2025 sophomore album Rolling Hills Road, and finds him at the intersection of emotional reckoning and dance-floor release. ‘In this Light’ navigates the disorienting beauty of a relationship that once felt illuminating… one that ultimately obscured self-trust and inner clarity. Shimmering synthesisers, electric piano warmth (courtesy of a Rhodes and Wurlitzer), and groove-driven production sit beneath writing that is unflinching in its honesty.

True to form, Winemiller wrote, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered the track himself, performing every instrument save for the lead guitar, from his home studio in Bozeman. The track took shape over the course of two years — evolving in real time alongside the relationship that inspired it, through repeated cycles of breaking up and reconnecting. As Isaac explains:

At its core, it’s a classic breakup song – but one that formed, grew, and changed in real time alongside the relationship itself. In many ways, it felt impossible to truly finish the song until I had finally moved on emotionally. Completing it became more than just finishing a track; it became part of the healing process itself. The song stands as a testament to resilience, self-reflection, and the confidence it takes to let go and move forward.”

The result is a track that feels both deeply personal and immediately physical – sensual, laid-back, and built to move. Sonically, Isaac Winemiller draws comparisons to Vansire, Parcels, Vacations, RICEWINE, and Yot Club; a lineage of artists who find space for heartbreak within irresistibly propulsive production.

Isaac Winemiller is no stranger to the streaming landscape, with his 2021 debut Levels of Removal accumulating tens of millions of cumulative Spotify streams and earning an editorial Fresh Finds placement, alongside write-ups from Obscure Sound, Indie-Shuffle, and Kidwithavinyl, among others. A full-time touring musician, he has performed internationally as bassist and saxophonist for Vansire across the US, Japan, Singapore, and China – with a full North American tour planned for autumn 2026 and early 2027, Vansire is a large figure in the bedroom pop / indie community, producing over 1.1 billion streams on spotify alone!

Solar Eclipse arrives backed by a four-week playlisting and press campaign via Symphonic, with a music video for ‘In this Light’ in development.
