Neverdogs’ Bamboleo Records welcomes Italian duo Proudly People for their label debut with their ‘Space’ EP, including a remix from Tamango Records frontman Yaya.

Anyone familiar with the signature Proudly People sound will be accustomed to the swinging rhythms that drive the EP title cut ‘Space.’ Aside from its hip-shaking cadence, it’s loaded with vivid analogue melodic elements and dreamy textures, making it a hooky and fun dancefloor heater with endless energy.
Yaya’s remix of ‘Space’ cuts an explicitly underground line, electing stripped-back beats and bottom-heavy percussive bounce throughout the mix. Sporting that distinctive chunky Yaya sonic appeal, it’s a pleasantly minimal and groovy spin on its predecessor.
‘Rock Like This’ rounds off the release with a more uptempo, rolling approach, flooding the finale with undulating drum grooves and rippling analogue bass notes to complement its expansive, intergalactic textures and glitchy sample shots. It is an undeniably quirky and unique cut, ending yet another impressive offering on Bamboleo Records.
