Wild and wonderful DJ/Producer wAFF’s NATURE imprint continues an impressive run of releases as
it welcomes renowned duo ItaloBros with their debut release on the label. Alongside two original cuts
on their ‘Sonhar’ EP, ItaloBros are joined by revered Swiss-Chilean tastemaker and Cadenza label boss
Luciano as he delivers a stunning signature remix for the B-side.
Opening with the title track, ‘Sonhar’ sees ItaloBros kick straight into indigenous flavours through
stunning strings and rippling rhythms that lay the foundations for a captivating tribal vocal over the
top of resonant, rolling Tech House vibes from start to finish.
‘Midnight’ comes next, bringing more percussive-focused grooves and pulsating low-end drive.
Another quality exhibition of undulating drums accompanied by an intricate and progressive tapestry
of synths, strings, pads and subtle vocals, carving out an atmospheric and uplifting club cut with
endless danceability.
Luciano closes off the EP with an archetypally unique offering. Sliding into an instant ebb and flow of
original sampling and culturally inspired percussive flair, the Cadenza boss delivers a signature slice of
that sonorous sound the world has come to love from him, loaded with boundless instrumental swing
and thrilling crescendos.
