Spanish DJ and producer Jairo Catelo launches his Harvey Music imprint with the ‘System to System’ EP, arriving 3rd April 2026, alongside a remix from Switzerland’s Deetron. Active since the 1990s, Catelo was among the top-selling vinyl artists of the 2000s, releasing on influential labels such as Plastic City, Defected, Soma, and now his own Harvey Music label.
“Harvey Music is the culmination of my journey. It is a space to honor the sounds that shaped me, from the raw energy of Detroit to the deep pulses of Dub Techno. Starting this adventure with an artist like Deetron is a dream come true and a statement of intent for the label’s future.” – Jairo Catelo
Opening track ‘1962’ sets the tone with wild, driving arpeggios riding a propulsive groove, unfolding as a progressive cut built around rising tension and hands-in-the-air release as the filters open. ‘1936’ follows with a rolling rhythmic framework, pairing a classic vocal sample with dubby sequences that ripple through the background, adding depth without breaking stride. Closing the EP, Deetron delivers a raw-edged, pulsating remix of ‘1962’, reworking the original into a rave-ready cut that channels urgency and power while retaining the core energy of Catelo’s vision.
