Built around tightly coiled drums, writhing low-end, and a raw UK rap vocal, ‘Thug Affection’ bridges new school tech house with wider UK underground influences. It’s a track destined for late-night systems: stripped-back, direct, and carrying the unmistakable edge that has become synonymous with his production style.
Since emerging in 2019, Jason Detox has forged a sound that pulls from his hometown’s rich heritage of garage, grime, hip-hop and house music. With releases on Issues, Techaway, and Way Out Records, to name a few, his music has picked up support from leading names such as Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, and Paco Osuna.
