Jazzy releases lead single ‘Invisible’ from the forthcoming LP ‘Peace & Patience’ due October 23 via Chaos Records

‘Peace & Patience’ is due October 23 via Chaos Records.

The road to Jazzy’s debut album starts now with a track sure to be anything but “Invisible.” The lead single from the Dublin dynamo’s forthcoming LP – Peace & Patience, due October 23 via Chaos Records – arrives on the heels of her recent Beatport Live set in Los Angeles, where Jazzy’s performance reminded everyone in attendance why her first full-length has been one of dance/electronic music’s most anticipated projects.

“Invisible” lives up to the expectation with its unbothered self-possession and cool confidence. “You got to let it go / You wish I was invisible,” Jazzy sings over the type of beat that lingers, running on a loop in your head long past the song’s last second. Chris Lorenzo’s gold-tipped fingerprints and bass house sensibilities are all over this one, adding even more attitude to a cut that already flaunts it.

The collaboration set the tone for Jazzy and Lorenzo’s recent b2b at Club Space Miami on June 19, and, longer-term, the full body of work to follow. In a press release, she says Peace & Patience is about “where I come from, the people who have held me down, and the patience it took to finally find my peace and my sound.”

“Invisible” reinforces Jazzy’s musical identity stylishly, boldly, and with the groove-ridden poise that’s become her signature. Catch the producer live this summer as main support for Calvin Harris across her native Dublin, Belfast, Scotland, and Ibiza.
