Jordan Peak returns with his first EP in seven years as he heads to Make You Move Records for four fresh cuts across his ‘Less Drama, More Party’ EP

With releases via leading imprints including Robsoul Recordings, One Records, Tsuba, Bass Culture and Morris Audio, Jordan Peak remains one of the UK house scene’s favourite exports. Heading up his own Rogue Society imprint, releasing music from Robert Hood, Mike Huckaby, Dan Curtin, Mike Denhert and Jus-Ed, to name just a few, Peak’s rise as an artist connecting the dots within house music from both sides of the Atlantic quickly led to becoming an early favourite for the likes of Paul Woolford, DJ Sneak and Seth Troxler. Having last released new music back in 2015 with his ‘Drums For Days’ EP, late June welcomes a long-awaited comeback as he heads to Timmy P and Devstar’s Make You Move Records to deliver a quartet of powerful cuts via his new four tracker, ‘Less Drama, More Party’.

Opener’ Würk’ launches the EP into a bustling percussive workout as spiralling leads, warped electronics, and bubbling vocals take hold, while ‘Tempation’ sees hazy vocals work amongst snaking basslines and resonant stabs. ‘Shiver’ ventures into breakbeat realms as bright keys simmer above sweeping synths, before closing the show via the garage-charged ‘Ghost Groove’ as chunky reese bass patterns and energetic rides combine to journey straight into the peak time. It’s a no-nonsense EP packed full of quality and diversity, and it’s safe to say Peak is back like he never left.

Jordan Peak ‘Less Drama, More Party’ EP drops via Make You Move Records on 24th June 2022.
