Josh Baker releases new single “My Place” Featuring Poppy Baskcomb.

After months of road testing all the way from Indio Valley to the White Isle, Josh Baker’s “My Place” finally arrives via Baker’s Dozen as a strong song of the summer contender. The amiable cut has the personality of a warm, sunny afternoon, with supple vocals from Poppy Baskcomb that have already proven their capability to evolve from a topline into a dance floor sing-along.

A standout moment of Baker’s sets at Coachella, Miami Music Week, Parklife, and, most recently, Amnesia’s opening party in Ibiza, where he made his debut alongside Joseph Capriati, “My Place” arrives just in time for the July 2 premiere of his first-ever You&Me residency at the nightclub. The sold-out party will see the producer and his close friends and serial collaborators Prospa return to the booth for another b2b, this time to kick off the residency, running every Thursday from July 2 through October 1.

Demand for You&Me’s opening night was so high that, in June, Baker announced via Instagram that ticket sales had soared beyond the Terrace’s capacity, prompting Amnesia to also open the Main Room.

“Honestly, watching this all unfold has been mad. Opening two rooms was not something I imagined for our first season,” he wrote.

In a separate post published on July 2, Baker called the residency “a dream since I started DJing.”
