Los Angeles, CA – Friday, July 3 – UK house DJ and producer Joshwa returns to Insomniac Records for his fifth appearance since 2022 with his new single, “If It’s Real,” a minimal tech production that showcases his unique club signature sound appropriate for all occasions.
Originally from London, Joshwa is a seasoned producer currently operating out of New York consistently setting a new standard for house music. His dynamic discography favors groove-driven, underground UK club energy and compelling hooks that keep crowds always coming back for more.
“If Its Real” centers on a spoken-word synth hook asking for clarity in a relationship. This is complemented by a moody, energetic rhythm, featuring rolling drums, a heavy low-end, sustained string pads, phaser stabs, two-chord loops, and pitch-drifting LFOs.
Joshwa has appeared on the label with previous singles “Kerching,” “Papi,” “VIP Business,” and last year’s “Wildflower,” the last of which drew radio plays from SiriusXM BPM, KCRW, Kiss FM UK, NRG, and Radio FG.
