Justin Martin drops Vol. 2 of ‘Ghettos & Gardens’ 10th Anniversary Remix Package.

Hot on the heels of Volume 1, which featured remixes from Melé, Harry Romero, Atjazz and Mary Droppinz, to name just a few, the second instalment sees What To Do boss Justin Martin once again invite a selection of his favourite artists to put their spin on his now iconic debut album, ‘Ghettos & Gardens’.

Opening the package, Don’t Apply head honchos Walker & Royce remix the legendary ‘Ruff Stuff’, with Hot Creations favourite Mason Maynard, Detroit legend DJ Minx, Coastal Haze founder Seb Wildblood, Canadian duo Smalltown DJs and London via LA musician Daktyl, plus West Coast talents Lenny Kiser and Edward White all delivering their own takes on tracks from the LP for Volume 2 of the project. Martin’s VIP of ‘Don’t Go’ wraps up the release, having also featured on the label earlier this year.

Originally released in 2012, ‘Ghettos & Gardens’ signalled the arrival of a landmark release for the San Francisco native and his emergence as a leading name within house music. Picking up praise from Resident Advisor through to the likes of BBC and NPR, the thirteen-track long-player brought classic singles such as ‘Don’t Go’ and ‘Ruff Stuff’.

Justin Martin’ Ghettos & Garden’s Remixes Vol. 2’ drops via What To Do on 14th October 2022.
