For their first ever original STMPD release, KAIOS have lined up ‘Vespa’, which sees them return to their deep, melodic techno roots. As a product of their fascination with the work of Stephan Bodzin, they wanted to create a track that evoked the same emotion through intricate synth work, both in and out of the box. ‘Vespa’ is an ode to KAIOS’ deep admiration for the world of melodic techno and artists such as Stephan Bodzin, Tale of Us and Mind Against.
KAIOS is a collaboration between London-based artists Fabio Lendrum and Andreas Metaxa. Recently named by Pete Tong as one of the “Future Stars” of 2021 on BBC Radio 1, KAIOS have enjoyed recent successes while creating remixes for artists such as Martin Garrix, Elderbrook, Diplo, Damian Lazarus and Kaz James.
