The new EP tops off an incredible year for Karen Harding; she hit 1 million UK sales of her breakthrough top 10 hit single ‘Say Something’; she hit 1 million Shazams of her music; her acoustic piano version of Roxette’s ‘Must Have Been Love’ was featured in Love Island; she landed on daytime Radio 1 playlists with ‘Un-Do My Heart’ (with Digital Farm Animals) and ‘Morning’ (with Shift K3Y); she returned to live performance, whipping up the crowds at Boardmasters Festival, Manchester Pride and more. ‘Sweet Vibrations’ is a chance to draw breath and celebrate this special talent.
The EP kicks off with ‘Un-Do My Heart’, Karen’s massive collaboration with Digital Farm Animals – one of the big sounds of last summer which landed on playlists everywhere. Next up is ‘You & I’, the brand new single, full of classic house vibes – already playlisted on KISS FM and the official ‘Jam Hot’ track on Mistajam’s Capital Dance show. ‘Rely’ keeps up the energy. This huge collaboration with Future Kings and L’Tric is proven to get hands in the air with its infectious chorus. Following on is ‘Deeper’ an unreleased new track, showcasing powerful vocals and full of energy. This instant classic is already a live show favourite and always gets the crowds jumping. ‘Morning’, Karen’s collaboration with Shift K3Y was another huge radio track which showcases Karen’s lyrical prowess alongside a big vocal and quality production. ‘Love Crazy’ is another unreleased new track set to delight fans. The retro-tinged groove is full of hooks and shows yet another side to Karen Harding’s songwriting and performance abilities. Title track ‘Sweet Vibrations’ is also brand new, increasing the tempo with old school pianos and a vibrant, uplifting vocal. ‘Let’s Get Together’ is up next, an irresistible and credible collaboration with respected house producers, Illyus & Barrientos, finishing the EP on a high.
Karen has featured and co-written with numerous influential artists including Purple Disco Machine, Paul Woolford, and Giorgio Moroder. Her songwriting and vocal delivery on this debut EP shows a level of maturity and nuance which underlines why she remains in such high demand.
