KI/KI has released a new single called ‘Can’t Stop Loving You’. The Dutch trance and techno star said the new track, out now with an extended mix on Bandcamp, was born out of a broken heart. “I’m keeping it real today — I wrote this track while going through a big heartbreak,” KI/KI shared on Instagram. “…Every note, every sound, every vocal helped me through how I was feeling, and listening back now reminds me that eventually things will be okay again.
She continued: “The song evolves from an emotional track to an optimistic 172 BPM banger, and this perfectly describes my process — and maybe the story of almost every heartbreak? This record is living proof to me that music can be healing. I hope it will do the same for you”.
It’s the latest in a run of new singles from KI/KI this year, most recently the ‘Put Your Bassline’ collaboration with Armin van Buuren. Prior to that, she released a remix of Fatima Yamaha’s classic ‘What’s A Girl To Do’ and ‘Losing Control’ with Marlon Hoffstadt.
