The Netherlands-based Kucera and Delayed Sentence join forces on Dorbachov’s Scrap & Delete for their ‘Analog Rhythms’ EP, releasing 5th December 2025.
The title track, ‘Analog Rhythms, ’ opens with raw propulsion and hypnotic focus, balancing grit and surgical control across a framework of jagged synth pulses and heavy low-end motion. ‘Between Networks’ follows, with off-axis drum programming and ghostly vocal fragments, evoking unstable connections and digital interference while maintaining relentless forward drive. On ‘Synthax’, the duo explore sci-fi atmospheres and bleeding-edge textures, layering spacious synth work over thick percussive foundations, for a sound that’s equal parts cerebral and physical. Closing cut ‘Twisted Ankl3’ delivers the EP’s most unhinged moment: a skewed, twitching workout of broken signal bursts and evolving rhythmic tension, designed for total warehouse immersion.
Born in Spain into a Czech family and raised in Amsterdam, Oliver Kucera is a live performer and producer known for his numerous hardware-driven projects, with releases on the likes of Djax Up Records, R&S Records as Unknown Archetype, and Laurent Garnier’s COD3 QR as Ancient Artefact, and a member of the punk electro collective Return Of The Luddites. His counterpart, Italian-born and Portuguese-raised DJ and producer Delayed Sentence, has been active under several aliases in various genres since the early 2000s and is a founding member of Amsterdam’s 8sixA collective. Together, they form BTWN NTWRX, a multi-modal duo that explores the intersection of raw machine funk and narrative techno. After debuting on Tar Hallow, the pair now releases this excellent four-tracker on the Manchester-based Scrap & Delete label.
