LA-Based EDM Producer XARXAY Gets Playful In High-Octane Bass House Single “BASSIC”

This Friday 10th September, 2021, Los Angeles based EDM producer/DJ XARXAY (pronounced
“zar•zay”) brings his high-energy new bass house single, “BASSIC”, to the fall airwaves.

Blurring the lines between dance, bass house and slap house, Xarxay’s magnetic melodies and
pounding rhythms on ‘Bassic’ will have you hyped up and dancing – wherever you are.

Bursting with energy and enthusiasm, drawing influences from dirty south hip hop and bass
house, the single’s vibe calls out to EDM lovers who love to get lost in a dirty, delicious beat.

Produced and recorded at Xarxay’s home studio in Los Angeles, the tongue-in-cheek single was
inspired by the DJ’s personal experience of being harassed by a stripper in a gentleman’s club:

“I was watching Dani Thorne’s amazing live DJ set in Chicago this summer, and I kept getting repeatedly harassed by an annoying dancer for a lap dance. Dani dropped a bomb remix by Khia called ‘Sit Yo Ass Down’. I was about to tell the stripper to do the same and ‘sit down’ – but then I felt it was better to release my aggression creatively and make a song instead of a scene.” — XARXAY

With an aesthetic best described as “black and white, but in full color”, the DJ brings color, diversity
and texture to his vibrant production style.

Keep an eye out for Xayxay’s next releases, including ‘Deep’ (September 27th) and ‘Show Me
What You Got’ ft. Demo, out on November 1st. They’re too good to miss.

Download and stream ‘BASSIC’, out on all platforms on Friday, 10th September.
