A new project emerges on the West Coast this summer as Modern Deliverylaunches its sister imprint Modern Delivery Xpress with ‘Mainframe’, the latest single from rising Tampa DJ/producer, Jay Crusoe. A tightly wound, synth-led hitter with hypnotic basslines and driving low-ends, the debut drop captures the DNA of the new label project: dance music crafted for the dancefloor with purpose, precision, and a clear sense of direction.

Operating out of Los Angeles, Modern Delivery is an independent label founded on a clear promise: to elevate creativity and deliver fresh music that reaches and impacts global club culture. Created as a platform for artists unafraid to push their sound forward, the imprint aims to strike a balance between raw functionality and inventive flair. It’s about clarity of vision, originality over algorithm, and quality above all else. No filler, no compromise. Or, as they put it, ‘Guaranteed fresh, always hot’.
Crusoe, whose blend of Latin-infused house and heavier-hitting influences has gained support from heavyweights such as John Summit and Cloonee, is a fitting choice to front the first release of the new sister label. His music sits between groove and grit: moody, stripped-back, but dialled in to the needs of the floor. His previous single, ‘spontaneous combustion’, signalled a breakthrough moment earlier this year, and ‘Mainframe’ continues this trajectory, refining his sound with laser-like focus – no excess, just energy.
Informed by long nights behind the decks and recent appearances at major festivals like EDC Orlando, as well as clubs such as The Ground in Miami, Crusoe’s productions speak the language of bustling dancefloors, direct, rhythmic, and undeniably functional. Mainframe strips things down to the core, letting tension and groove carry the weight. For both artist and label, this release marks an impactful beginning, delivering a statement of intent and a clear signal of what’s to come in the months ahead.
