For Late Replies, house music has always been as much about the dance floor as the studio. The North West London duo of Kas and Josh return to Ranger Trucco’s range. with Share This Moment EP, continuing a relationship that took shape earlier this year through their collaboration with Ranger on “Numb The Pain.” Their new two-tracker pairs “Share This Moment (Another Life)” with “To My Bedroom,” bringing Late Replies back into the orbit of an imprint increasingly synonymous with groove-heavy, personality-led club music.

Both records came together in the duo’s home studio. After spending what felt like forever searching for the right vocals, they eventually stopped looking elsewhere. Josh, who grew up writing lyrics and rapping, got behind the mic himself. That decision became a defining characteristic of the EP, giving the records a more personal edge alongside the rolling basslines, melodic touches and loose, groove-heavy feel running through their music.

That musical background began long before the Late Replies project came to be. Kas grew up around recording and performance through his father, a renowned Arabic singer, and began learning the Oud at age 12 before moving into hip-hop, reggae and eventually house. Josh started playing piano at age 7 and spent his teenage years writing and rapping before a trip to Ibiza shifted his attention towards house music.

The idea to form Late Replies came later, on a trip to Hideout Festival in Croatia. Standing in the crowd, Josh remembers thinking about what it would feel like to be the DJ, creating that energy for everyone else in the room. Kas initially told him he would manage him. Josh had another plan: they should do it together.

Since forming the project in 2016, Late Replies have taken that idea far beyond North West London, amassing more than 10 million Spotify streams, multiple Beatport No. 1s, and a touring history that includes Factory Town, Halcyon, Superior Ingredients and Lost Beach Club.

Their return to range. also feels like a natural continuation of the musical connection between Late Replies and Ranger Trucco. After “Numb The Pain,” Share This Moment EP pushes that relationship forward with two records that sit comfortably alongside the groove-led club sound Ranger has been championing through both his sets and the label.

Ranger has long since been working both tracks into his own sets, giving the EP time to build recognition where both Late Replies and range. have always placed the emphasis: on the dance floor.

For Kas and Josh, that’s ultimately where these records are meant to live.
