Making an indelible mark on the progressive and deep house scenes, Laura van Dam keeps the momentum going with her new release, joining forces with Q.U.A.K.E, an artist that has been shaking the underground circuit at its core. With “Holding On,” the potent pairing builds around escalating progressive leads and rippling synth call-and-response, which are layered to perfection over a galloping, pulse-pounding rhythm. A moody, cinematic breakdown creates a faultline filled with tension, as atmospheric pads, organ chords, and modulating starlike melodies provide a stark, beautiful contrast to the track’s driving energy.

Describing the essence of their new single, Laura van Dam says, “‘Holding On’ is the perfect blend of emotion and energy a progressive trance track that truly captures what Q.U.A.K.E and I love about the genre. We poured our hearts into this one.

“Holding On” has become a crowd-favorite of late, with Laura van Dam rinsing the ID at some the most respected dancefloors around the world, including performances at EDC Las Vegas, Sunrise Argentina, Beats 4 Love, Ushuaia, Storm Festival (China), and Radius Chicago
