Canadian indie-pop singer-songwriter Laurent Bourque is poised to announce a brand new track with the arrival of ‘Thinking of You’ this summer. This is the second single from his highly anticipated album ‘Blue hour’ which is due early 2020.
Bourque details the track: “It’s a song about daydreaming about a past relationship. It’s about those little vignettes in time we reminisce about when we’re busy doing something else.”
Drenched in chorus guitars and a mesmerizing groove ‘Thinking of you’ is a perfect soundtrack for summer. Laurent sings about “that instinct we all have to reach to someone we’re thinking about… yet we always hold back due to being scared of seeming vulnerable.”
The song follows his first single from Blue hour, ‘Matador’ which premiered on tastemaker outlet Earmilk and reached the top 20 chart on CBC Radio in Canada.
