Layton Giordani returns with the second release on his newly-launched label MADMINDS: ‘Call You Back’, a collaboration with sought after Italian producer GENESI and London-hailing vocalist Be No Rain. The gritty, intoxicating tech house cut has been taking the scene by storm, already backed by heavy hitters including John Summit, Adam Beyer, MEDUZA, Adam Sellouk and more.

Tantalizing, suspenseful, and irresistibly explosive, infused with a hint of nostalgia, ‘Call You Back’ hooks listeners from the start with its hypnotic vocals and a bassline built to move dance floors. A proven crowd favorite, the track has been a standout moment in both Layton’s and GENESI’s sets all summer long across the globe, from UNVRS and Hï Ibiza to Brooklyn Storehouse in New York and Córdoba’s La Estación.
“’Call You Back’ was originally born in a studio session with Be No Rain on vocals, and when Layton jumped in, he brought this raw edge that pushed the track into darker, tougher territory. It carries that underground, driving energy that I love, but still holds a melodic depth that connects on the dancefloor,” says GENESI. “Layton has been a huge supporter of my journey, so releasing this as the second track on his new MADMINDS label feels special. To see it already getting love from him, Adam Beyer, John Summit and so many others in the scene makes it even more powerful.”
“In the studio GENESI really pushed me to do something new for my voice, something outside of my comfort zone. It was liberating, and I felt free to write lyrics that matched the vocal character we’d found,” says Be No Rain. “I was completely blown away when I heard the finished production that Layton Giordani & GENESI had sculpted. It’s such an honour to work with two of the most exciting producers in the game.”
“I’m a big believer in working with artists that are up next and bringing something new to our scene, and GENESI is one of them. We’ve been friends for a while and always knew a collab would eventually come,” adds Layton Giordani. “‘Call You Back’ is the perfect example of a record that blurs genres and puts you in a transfixed state of mind. It feels fresh, exciting, and so original. I’m excited to introduce him and this track to MADMINDS.”
‘Call You Back’ is out now on all platforms via MADMINDS.
About Layton Giordani
Layton Giordani continues to reign as a trailblazer and now label boss of MADMINDS in the house and techno world, solidifying his presence at the forefront of the global scene. A New York native, Giordani’s journey into electronic music began in his teens, inspired by the legendary sets of Danny Tenaglia at Pacha NY. This profound experience drove him to pursue a career behind the decks, eventually securing a pivotal residency at Output NY in Brooklyn. Here, Giordani’s talent flourished, catching the eyes of notable figures in the techno scene.
Giordani’s big break came under the mentorship of Adam Beyer, the techno heavyweight behind the Drumcode label. With Beyer’s support, Layton’s debut ‘Unspoken’ EP on Truesoul, followed quickly by his debut on Drumcode with Rivington, marked his arrival as a rising force in the techno scene. His 2017 debut album ‘Where It Begins’ earned widespread acclaim, cementing his status as a significant player.
The years that followed were marked by monumental collaborations and career-developing hits, including ‘Live Again’ with Danny Tenaglia and ‘Space Date’ with Adam Beyer and Green Velvet–the latter accumulating over 19 million streams on Spotify and reaching anthem status. Giordani’s 2020 sophomore album ‘New Generation’ was a bold step forward, blending influences from various genres while expanding the boundaries of his own sound.
His versatility continued to shine in subsequent years with releases including the ‘Hyperworld’ EP, an energetic collaboration with HI-LO on ‘Rabbit Hole,’ and a collaborative remix of ‘Voicemail’ with Green Velvet and Patrick Topping. These tracks not only gained widespread acclaim but also showcased his ability to reshape and reimagine tracks for a new era.
In 2024, Giordani released 10 massive tracks, including his remix of ‘Last Night’ with Anyma which rocketed to #1 overall on Beatport and surpassed 100,000 daily streams on Spotify at its peak. Prior to this, ‘PATT (Party All The Time)’ with Adam Beyer and Green Velvet also topped the charts. Other notable releases from the year include ‘Paranoid’, Giordani’s debut on the Experts Only label, his remix of Dom Dolla’s ‘girl$’, and first official remix of deadmau5’s ‘Strobe.’
Coming into 2025, Giordani has become one of the most influential names in the house and techno scene, rocketing into the year with ‘Act of God’ (nearing 3MM streams), and followed up by a monster remix of John Summit’s ‘Focus’—and ‘At Night’ with Anyma, passing the 3MM stream mark just shy of two months post-release. Giordani’s tracks receive consistent support across global radio stations, including heavy rotations from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, Mista Jam on Capital, KISS, and Diplo’s Revolution XM radio.
Fresh off a series of sold-out shows and high-profile festival plays—including headlining gigs in NYC and Space Miami, the Yuma Tent at Coachella, and closing sets at EDC Las Vegas and elrow UNVRS Ibiza—Giordani enters his 3-continent fall tour and new era as label boss full of momentum, further cementing his place among the genre’s elite.

About Be No Rain
Be No Rain first burst onto the scene with his trademark tenor vocals alongside Kas:st, and Tale of Us on their genre-defining anthem, Hold Me To The Light. Soon after, he caught the ears of trance legend Armin Van Buuren, who reached out during the pandemic to collaborate on the haunting and mournful ‘Hollow.’ Colyn remixed Hollow in late 2021, reintroducing melodic house and techno fans to Be No Rain’s distinctive writing and vocal tone.
As lockdowns eased, a new Be No Rain song began making waves across the electronic music world. Night After Night, an earth shattering collaboration with Fideles and Camelphat, quickly made its way into DJ sets the world over. Upon release, Night After Night was greeted as an instant classic, being featured in headline sets and mixes by David Guetta, Tiesto and Tale Of Us, to name a few. It has since gone on to rack up over 50 million cumulative streams.
Be No Rain continued to reach new audiences, this time in Latin America, through his collaboration with the trailblazing Brazilian DJ Vintage Culture and Fideles. Their track Fallen Leaf has become a beloved fixture of Vintage Culture’s enormous stage shows, and has been platinum certified in Brazil.
After signing with Armada Music late this summer the future looks set to be filled with new highs for one of electronic music’s most distinctive voices.
